Viola is rescued from a shipwreck on the shores of
Illyria. During the storm, she is separated from her
twin brother, Sebastian, who she believes is dead. In order
to survive in this foreign land, Viola dresses as a boy named
Cesario and goes to work for Duke Orsino, whom she falls
in love with. Orsino, however, is in love with Countess Olivia
and sends Viola to court her for him. Olivia falls for Viola
(disguised as Cesario) instead, spurring a love triangle of
mistaken identities and missed connections. Speeches,
sword fights, and shenanigans ensue in Shakespeare’s classic
comedy Twelfth Night!
