The Pinkerton Players' Production of Disney's NEWSIES, A Musical based on the Disney Film - Newsies follows a charming newsboy, Jack Kelly, in 1899 New York City as he leads an army of orphans on a strike. When publishing company heads like the nefarious Joseph Pulitzer raise the distribution price of newspapers at the children’s expense, the boys form a union and fight for fair wages and working conditions.
